The Association for Image Processing, Poland (TPO) has funded the award for the best young scientists' presentation at ICCVG 2024.
The winning presentation will be selected by the Award Committee consisting of Programme Committee members and members of TPO Governing Board present at the Conference, from the presentations of papers of the best scientific level, on the basis of the quality of their presentation, made by young researchers. The award is granted to the person who has presented the paper.
The Committee can grant awards and distinctions. The distinction consists of a diploma. The award consists of a diploma and the right to participate in the next ICCVG without the fee. The free participation can be transferred by the Laureate to a co-author of the paper.
The Laureate will be announced during the closing of the conference.
In 2022, the winning presentation on
Fast triangle strip generation and tunnelling for different cost metrics
was given by Jonas Treumer from the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany.
The Authors of the paper were: Jonas Treumer, Lorenzo Neumann, Ben Lorenz and Bastian Pfleging, Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany.
